Twitter, microblogging network with 200 users worldwide, is evaluated at 10 billion dollars after giants Google and Facebook had discussions with officials of the company to an acquisition, according to U.S. newspaper The Wall Street Journal.

Apple and Research In Motion (RIM) jumped last year in the top five largest handset manufacturers in the world, as demand for smartphones increases, according to data released Wednesday by research firm Gartner, says the Financial Times.
